About the owner
My great grandfather Jose Canchola a master carpenter and mason, got me into sharpening at a young age. Starting on mower blades, hand saws and his collection of hunting knives using a series of files and Norton bench stones. Through out the years I grew a love for whetstones and sharpening wheels, which I still use today to keep the traditions used by our ancestors alive. One of my favorite parts of sharpening is teaching, I'm always happy to share my passion and meet some one interested in learning this art.
